The Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise has engaged Heidrick & Struggles, a retained international executive recruitment firm, to assist in the search for an Executive Director.
The Enterprise and its Executive Director have the unique charge to facilitate the collaboration of scientists, companies, donors, and other organizations in the public and private sectors to accelerate the development of an HIV vaccine. We seek an experienced, dynamic and diplomatic leader who will build the permanent Secretariat and provide leadership for the Enterprise's mission to help guide and fund HIV vaccine research and development. As the primary spokesperson for the Enterprise, the Executive Director will be a major voice, authority, and champion in support of the global efforts to develop an HIV vaccine. He/she will communicate the vision and mission of the Enterprise, serve as a credible broker to create and facilitate key scientific collaborations, and catalyze public and private support to advance the development of a successful HIV vaccine.
