AIDS Vaccine 2009 will be accepting applications for New Investigator Awards and International Scholarships.
An abstract submission is required of all scholarship applicants.

Award Categories
International Scholarship
Researchers and clinicians (under the age of 35) who submit an abstract are eligible to apply for an International Scholarship. This scholarship will cover Conference registration fees, airfare, and accommodations.
New Investigator Awards
Graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and young faculty members (under the age of 35) are eligible to apply for one of five New Investigator Awards. These awards are restricted to presenting authors of accepted abstracts, and will be awarded to the highest scoring abstracts from eligible presenting authors. The New Investigator Awards will cover Conference registration fees, airfare, and accommodations. In addition, New Investigator Award winners will receive a cash prize at the Conference.
Instructions:
International Scholarship and New Investigator Award applications must be submitted via the online abstract submission site. Submitters will be prompted through the electronic submission process.
Submitters must provide the following information:
- An Applicant Statement (250 word maximum) describing the applicant's career interests, the nature of his/her international collaborations, and the reasons for his/her interest in attending the Conference.
- Curriculum Vitae (three-page maximum). This document must be uploaded to the submission site.
- A recommendation letter verifying the applicant's eligibility and merit from the applicant's employer or from a collaborator. The letter should be written in 250 words or less on institutional letterhead. It should include the contact information for the recommending party. The document must be uploaded to the submission site.
- The award application will be accessible before the completion of the abstract submission.
