Media Registration

Welcome to the AIDS Vaccine 2008 Conference registration site for media. The conference welcomes working journalists from around the world who are interested in covering the event. Registration fees will be waived for working journalists; however, travel, hotel and any other expenses will be the responsibility of the journalist or media outlet.

Registration requirements

To register as a media representative, you must submit the following documentation:

• Application letter including:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Institution/Organization
  • Address
  • Country
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
• your accreditation (a copy of your official press credentials or a letter of assignment to the conference on the official stationery of the media organization for which you work or are deputed to cover the conference) and/or,
• if you are a freelance journalist wishing to cover the conference, please submit copies of two recently published articles/broadcast stories related to HIV/AIDS (preferably HIV/AIDS vaccines if possible).

All submitted credentials will be checked and verified and, if necessary, additional credentials may be requested. Registration will be granted at the discretion of the AIDS Vaccine 2008 Organizing Committee.

Journalists are encouraged to register early, and to submit all required documentation as soon as possible, given the potential need to close media registration due to space constraints.
