The Atlanta airport, or ATL, is located 10 miles outside Downtown Atlanta. On average, there are more than 2,700 arrivals and departures daily, making Hartsfield-Jackson the busiest airport in the world for total movements.
VISA INFORMATION
Depending on the country that issued your passport, the country in which you reside, and your travel status, you may also need a visa and certain inoculations to enter the United States. In addition, a “transit visa” may be required if you are making an airline connection before entering the United States. It is your responsibility to contact the embassies or consulates of any countries you will be transiting to determine if a transit visa or inoculations are required for that country.
Visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past. Therefore, it is important to apply very early. The US State Department advises that some applications may take more than two months to process.
Failure to have all required documentation will result in your being denied boarding of your flight.

Shuttle Rates: The AIDS Vaccine Conference has a discounted round trip rate of $25.00. A one way ticket is $16.50.
*The above rates reflect to and from ATL to the Omni Hotel at CNN Center.
Shuttles are available from 06:00 to midnight with a wait time of 15 minutes or less, and will drop you off at the exact location you request, as well as pick you up. Book your shuttle online or over the phone. Be sure to mention AIDS Vaccine when reserving your shuttle.

Directions to Atlanta Link Shuttle Desk
The Atlanta Link shuttle desk is located in ground transportation in the Green Isle, stalls 1 - 4.
From South Terminal (Red Terminal): exit to Ground Transportation using door W-2, cross the street to the loading area. Look for the white vans with the (Red) The Atlanta Link logo. A curb agent will be there to assist you.
From North Terminal (Blue Terminal): exit to Ground Transportation using door W-1, turn to the left, walk to door W-2, cross the street to the loading area. Look for the white vans with the (Red) The Atlanta Link logo. A curb agent will be there to assist you.
From T Gate: follow the signage to Ground Transportation. Ground Transportation is located on the main floor of the airport. Once on the main floor of the airport please follow instructions listed above for the blue and red terminals.

MARTA Train
Upon arrival, follow the Ground Transportation signs to MARTA. The entrance to MARTA's Airport Station is located inside the western end of the airport's main terminal. There is ample signage posted to help you find the train station. Click here for a map of the airport MARTA location.

No MARTA train service is available from 00:45 until 05:00.
- Board the RED Line NS Northbound train to North Springs at the Airport Station. Arrive at Five Points Station (approximately 20 minutes.)
- At Five Points Station, exit to the street and head Northeast on Forsyth St SW toward Marietta St NW. A Burger King will be on your right and a Pure Essence Hair Salon will be on your left.
- Turn left on Marietta St. NW. Walk about .2 miles.
- Turn left at Centennial Olympic Park Dr. and walk until you see the Omni Hotel.
- End at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center - 100 CNN Center, Atlanta, GA 30303
